San Antonio Fun

 Mac had to test out the bed to make sure it was comfy!

Summer time

 Kids were enjoying the pool one evening.  They thought it was cool swimming inthe dark.

                  They were being silly in this photo.  :)

 Mac was playing with playdough and made me a salad  :)

 .....and a cheeseburger...if you look at the tv in the back, you can see it was on Casey Anthony coverage...something I don't wish to talk about since she was found Not Guilty...

 Mac and Caitie can hardly be apart...we had her for a sleepover...

 and Mac made pancakes with strawberries and srambled eggs for her Caitie for breakfast..

Mackenzie can actually flip around the bar a couple times now in gymnastics...she has moved up to level 2 now. 

Snail Vine update and buttermilk biscuits

                      My vine is out of control now...I believe a family of gecko's is living in there.

      But it's so pretty I hate to cut it.

 We are getting ready to head to the graduation banquet for Midwestern University.

 Im making homemade buttermilk biscuits using Gram's utensil's...so you know they are going to come out great knowing I have Grma's magic touch!

    And...Im using my favorite cookbook The Pioneer Woman" I got from Brooke.

                        I made the kids pose for a snap so I could add them in the blog.

 We got Mac her school shoes early because she just HAD TO HAVE a pair of Van's shoes

And every single time I go upstairs...Snuggles is waiting by the bathroom door hoping someone will let her drink from the tub....

Swimming, Vacation Bible School and Father's Day

 Summer is so busy.  Im such a creature of habit and summer time is anything but routine!  We finally got the pool up and running last Sunday...the kids could'nt even wait for it to fill up.  It's a good thing we got it up...it hit 113 today!  Hot, hot hot!!!!

                                      

 Mackenzie wanted to bake something and the cake Grandma Katy made for her birthday last year when we were back is her favorite!!  Jello Poke cake..we used strawberry jello...it's a great summer time cake!

 Vacation Bible school was a great time and kids enjoyed it.  This was Mackenzie's last year...i can't believe it!

 The kids were getting ready to sing songs when I took these pictures.

     Dad deserved a lunch out at his favorite place...The Hurricane!  Happy Father's Day!!

 Homemade Kettle chips with Bleu Cheese, Jalapeno cheese dip...super yummy!

 The kids picked the loaded fries....what a nice healthy snack :)

.....and of course, a nice cold beer with a twist of lime! 

Castles and Coasters

 We have been planning our trip to San Antonio this summer where we will be going to Sea World and Six Flags...so Mitch thought we needed a "warm-up" to prepare for amusement park fun....so we went to Castles and Coasters.
