Taking care of the babies!

I could take a gazillion pictures of them when they are sleeping...they are so cute!

Marcus just loves the babies and takes very good care of them
This little guy didn't even wake up when I was holding him...although their eyes aren't open yet.
                          Tuckered out
Mama Cat is tuckered out too.
                 Mackenzie loves on them 24/7

What is wrong with me?

I made a loaf of whole wheat bread...i even used flax seed to make it even more healthy...
It sure looks pretty and yummy...however...it came out heavy and very dense.. guess I will have to find a recipe I can use it in...I tried a piece and chewed the same bite for a very long time.
Okay..these lovely scones came out much better.  I put oranges in the batter and made an orange frosting to drizzle on them after they cool.
Mitch is going to smoke some ribs this afternoon so I made Cowboy Beans...
This morning for breakfast I made banana pancakes! Does anyone want to clean my kitchen?

Kittens, kittens and more kittens

Smokey was a busy kitty yesterday, giving birth to seven, yes seven, kittens!
                      They are so cute!
We were trying to put a clean fresh towel in the carrier.  Mackenzie  was taking them out and Smokey would pick them back up and carry them back in the carrier.

Our last day of vacation : Alamo and a big steak dinner

The Alamo was really interesting and Mitch and I could have spent a lot more time there...but it was hot, muggy and the kids just weren't has interested.

Behind the Alamo were lots of historic things to see...this tree was huge and very old along side a well.
We all needed a cool drink after being out in the hot sun...

We had to finish off our trip with a big steak dinner.  I took this picture for mom and dad...
I don't know how they had room left in their stomachs after all the food we had, but then again...they are kids and always have room for dessert!
Ahh...look how good they are getting along....ya, i know...they are sleeping.
Hanging out at the airport...he was listening to some music
So was Mac...everyone is ready to head home.

More from San Antonio

This popular picture spot was along the Riverwalk

Mitch was in meetings all day so the kids and I went to the Rainforest Cafe

Six Flags was great!  Although the muggy heat was tough...

This was outside a pub that we ate and watched womens soccer...

Seaworld and more of San Antonio

Getting ready to enter Seaworld...I may have been more excited than the kids.
                              Pretty Flamingo's
Yay!  The Shamu Show!  Honestly, if I wouldn't have grown up and become a nail tech, I would have been a whale trainer...whales are so magnificent.
We sat in the splash zone...Marcus kept saying, "im still not wet, im still not wet..."
I couldn't take the picture when we got soaked, but notice the whale upside down, his tail came up and drenched us all!  Marcus got wet!
This was the baby whale... so cute.  After the trainer was killed by a whale in San Diego a couple years ago, the trainer's no longer get in the water with them....
                          Time to feed the dolphins!

                            Begging for more...

They are just so cute and playful...

This guy...not so cute and playful............

BBQ...need I say more when you are in the state o' Texas.....
