Christmas Week

For our holiday party, the owner had a Casino night.  It was a lot of fun.  Tables were set up throughout the salon with different card games.  It was all fake money...darn, because Mitch won $24,000 at blackjack!!
This is my work spouse, hiking partner and cooking buddy Heather :)
After a long week we were all moving around pretty slow the next day.  I looked this hideous the whole day :/
Homemade waffles in our new waffle maker!!  They were yummy!
This is supposed to be a "before" shot of Mac before she was going to do her hair with her new flat iron she bought with some of her Christmas money....but she changed her mind after her shower to just lounge around instead.  I don't blame her...she is on break.  :)
I just take a picture of Marcus whenever he lets me because it's not too often and he has to be in a good mood.  Reminds me of my sister...when she was little, she hated her picture being taken.
                              A favorite hangout for Panther.
Mackenzie decided she wanted to make a gingerbread house.
                               What a good job.......
trying to get a shot of every angle.......
                                   uh-oh.......it didn't last long
Marcus took this picture before leaving for church on Christmas Eve.
After church, the kids were dying to open their presents......I would say he did pretty good!
Mac has a handful of gift cards and CD's...she was pretty happy!
Santa brought Marcus a new soft bathrobe!  Please refrain from looking at the messy background!  Christmas stuff everywhere!!!
Nicole made these wonderful crescent cinnamon rolls, so I tried them...so YUMMY!!!!!! I just made this with 1 tube of rolls... Just mix up 4 tablespoons of soft butter, 1/4 c brown sugar and a teaspoon and a half of cinnamon..spread it on each crescent, roll up, pinch the sides and bake on an ungreased baking sheet for about 10 minutes @ 350 degrees.  Then drizzle powdered sugar frosting over them and enjoy with coffee or a hot chocolate.
After Marcus warmed up, Copper decided she loved how soft his robe was and got comfy next to it.
Mitch and I took Copper for a walk and left the kids at home.  When we returned, music was playing and they got out stuff to throw a party!  They are rapping!  Priceless!
What a happy smile :)

One Busy Week

Mackenzie and I went to my friend Heather's to bake cookies with her daughter Sarah and her mom and sister...apparantly I never got a shot of her mom and sister, but we sure had a great time :) This is one of her 3 dogs, Bo.
Sarah and Mackenzie busy decorating sugar cookies
Heather's sister needed a little wine to help her keep up with all the baking :)
They were exhausted just watching us  :)
                                            We had a great time!
Mackenzie had a Band Concert Tuesday night...she did a fantastic job! She is still playing the flute.

Mitch and Marcus were out one night playing with remote control cars...
Corey and Mackenzie partnered up to play their instruments in the Talent Show on Wednesday night...They did a great job :)
For some reason, this picture was supposed to be first, but it showed up at the end...it is a busy time but friends can make it all worth while!!!!

This picture is so cute
Even Christmas down to our garage lights :)
Unfortunately with cats, we only decorate the top half of the tree
Panther gets Copper fired up....a lot!
