Hanging out

It has been forever since I have posted.  Marcus likes having his pic taken, however, Mac runs when I get the camera out.

Last night Mitch and I had The Dietrichs over for dinner.  Mike and Michelle have a 40 game season package to the Diamondbacks and we went in on the package with them this year.  So we had to sit down and divide out the games.  I made a roasted chicken, wild rice and asparagus along with mom's super yummy chocolate bundt cake!

Panther and Marcus relaxing

This is something that rarely happens in our house...peace among the pets!  These 2 constantly fight for dominance; apparently they are too tired to care today :)

Quiet February

These are cornbread stuffed jalapeno poppers.  I found the recipe on Pinterest, but I doctored it up a bit.  Instead of stuffing the popper with just cornbread only, I put cream cheese mixed with some shredded pepperjack cheese underneath...to the cornbread batter I added diced jalapenos, shredded sharp cheddar and a little bit of corn...delish! They were supposed to be my appetizer to take to a Super Bowl party, but our hot water heater burst right before we were supposed to leave, so I shared them with our nice neighbor who helped us out....
This is a stuffed pablano pepper...I used the left over cream cheese mixture and popped it in the oven....
                                                  Ribs....One of Mackenzie's favorite meals!
Marcus is still nonstop wrestling!  He posted this sign to make sure none of us touch his WWE stuff....
This is why he posted that sign.  He has it set up like a match, so I wanted to take a picture....and then look who came to inspect....
Snuggles!  You better hope Marcus doesn't catch you there!

This is Boris after I cleaned his tank!  Things are fairly quiet around here....and I like it that way...and my children have not been in the mood to have their picture taken...geez!
