My experiment...I baked a whole pumpkin and got 9 cups of pumpkin puree out of it.  Prick it several times, stick it in a roasting pan and bake it at 350 for about 2 hours.

This was Mitch and I on our 14th wedding anniversary.  Helping the kids with homework...I look about as thrilled as he does in the background.



Last Saturday Mac and I had a girl's night out.  We ate at Paradise Bakery and went to the mall.  It was a fun time and we hope we can do it more often...  :)

R.I.P. Gary

Earlier this week Gary, Marcus's pet snail, passed away. Today we said goodbye to Gary. Marcus brought Gary all the way home from Disneyworld in his pocket a year and a half ago.  He lived a great life and will forever be in our hearts...

This as at church. Mackenzie is in the Youth Choir.  They are called the Halos.  They performed a concert for our service and did fantastic!   Mackenzie is the one right behind the 2 girls on the front row on the left side of the picture.  They did great!

Marcus received this certificate at soccer last night.  He worked really hard and did his best at both the game on Saturday and practice last night.

Busy weekends in October

This was after his game last week.  They had pictures afterwards and were waiting in line.  I didn't get pictures today but they tied (But all the boys think they won) and played the hardest I had ever seen!

Last weekend was Midwestern University's Bright Lights event.  It holds a silent auction and the proceeds go to scholarships for students.



I was in a bidding war with another girl for this purse.  I had to outbid her 3 times but I got it!

This was the Faculty Appreciation dinner.  Mitch was honored with a plaque for 10 years of dedication to Midwestern.  Cool that the lighted up logo is in the background!  Im so proud of him!
