Youth Group

Kids were starting to leave so we took a picture quickly.  This was the Youth group party kick off Saturday night.  Mackenzie is just above the boy in the orange shirt.  They just got out of the pool.  It was a fun time and I hope that all the kids stay excited about Youth group...next week they go bowling :)

Brooke and I went on a hike very early in the morning...I think we left the house at 5:30.  It was really hot when they were all here so you have to hike early...if you look in the distance you can see lots of hot air balloons...it was a beautiful morning!

Marcus' WWE birthday bash

I can't believe Marcus is turning 9!  His birthday is actually Wednesday, but he partied Saturday with some of his friends to celebrate.  He is still crazy about WWE, so that was our theme.

Summer Fun!

While Mac was in Kansas I enrolled Marcus in a camp at the Challenger Space Center.  It was Astronaut Survivor camp. 

He learned a lot, had fun and made friends!

...and a little getaway for mom and dad! Max stayed with Marcus while Mitch and I got away for a fun weekend to Vegas!

We had free nights at the Luxor, so we enjoyed some time by the pool.  Let me just tell you, you could spend the whole time just people watching!

What month is it???

Oh my, I am so behind!  I can hardly keep track of what month we are in let alone what day it is!  Summer was all about family, lots of bags and airports and trips to and from Kansas and Arizona. Mackenzie spent some time with her grandparents and cousins and hopefully made some memories along the way....this picture belongs on a Kansas postcard!  My mom really has a knack for photography! 

I flew with Mac and delivered her to mom and dads in mid June.  I also stopped to see my grandma in her new home in Osage...then I had to quickly fly back to the desert!  Mac got to help Papa and Gma Katy around the house and even rode the lawnmower!
