| My sister just made my day! Look at this beautiful bowl!!! She found it in Burlingame at an Antique store today. Yes, there is a story behind it. But first, thank you to my sister for finding it! Several years ago there was an auction at my grandparents house(my dads parents) and my maternal grandmother bought a set of pyrex dishes at the sale, but it was missing a bowl. And when my grandmother came to visit me she gave me those bowls. They mean a lot to me. I have the yellow, red and green bowl but the blue was the one she no longer had. I have been on a mission since then, looking at thrift stores all over Phoenix hoping someday I would find a blue pyrex bowl to complete my set. I even had some of my clients who enjoy rummaging at sales to keep an eye out for it. Well, my sister found it today and I am so happy! Thank you Sissy! |
