Summer weekends

On Father's day we took down our pool fence and Mitch powered sprayed the patio.

We made smores! They were so good...it's been a long time since I have had one.

So Marcus had a couple teeth bothering him and I told him we would buzz to the dentist and have him take a look....well, he discovered Marcus had some impacted teeth and suggested pulling some of his baby teeth to give room for the adult teeth. He had to have 8 teeth pulled!!!  He was a trooper and did great.

We went to the Arizona Grand this past weekend with some friends and enjoyed the resort's water park.  Here is Marcus passing by us.  He was floating along their lazy river.

We all went down the water slide several times.

Pictures from DC

These are the pictures Mackenzie took from her camera.  She only remembered to take the camera out the first day but she took some really great pictures.  I will add the ones her director sent later. It was a really great experience for her and when she got home said she had so much fun she would like to do it again. :)

Back Home

Mackenzie's BFF Mikenzie wanted to surprise her at the airport.  She was completely surprised and happy.

Happy to be home.  I will get all her DC photos together and get them on the blog in a few days.

Dbacks and DC

Saturday night we went to the Dbacks game.  Marcus got his picture with the giant Luis Gonzalez :)

Mackenzie's tour director sent some pictures from their trip so far.  She gets home tonight.

Mackenzie's trip

We signed Mackenzie up for a trip to Washington DC through her school.  She is boarding the plane as I type this.  They are flying a red eye so their plane takes off at 10:02 pm and they arrive tomorrow morning and begin their tour.  I hope she sleeps on the plane!  This is a picture of us going into the airport.

Family time

Saturday night we went bowling.  Marcus bowled a strike!

It was a nice evening.  Now we are getting Mackenzie ready for a very big trip.  She heads to Washington DC tomorrow for a school trip.  She is going to have a great experience!
