Summer time!!!

Wrapping up the last week of school.

He got an A on his science project :)

Now school is out and Mitch got home from his business trip in DC.  Time to clean the pool and have a nice relaxing weekend!

Even Copper was enjoying some R&R.

Marcus is so HAPPY school is out!

Mitch and I went out with friends to kick off the weekend!  Mackenzie was at a sleepover with one of her friends...we all had a great time! :)

On one of Gram's visit's here, we went to Sedona to see some friends of hers.  I was pregnant with Marcus so this was just about 10 years ago. 

Confirmation Weekend

Last night was the confirmation dinner and rehearsal.  Mitch had to leave for DC this morning for a business trip and was really sad he was missing today.

The church made a wonderful meal for the families. 

The big day!  These are her friends Samantha and Hannah.

This is Julie, Mackenzie's Faith friend.  She is such a wonderful, dear person and we are very blessed to have her come into our lives.  She helped Mackenzie understand what kind of relationship she can have with her church and God.

Pastor Susan and her husband Randy led the confirmation classes.

Pastor Ruth has been with the church as long as we have been members which is 11 years this September.  She has known Mackenzie since she was 2.  She has been a huge supporter of the youth and is very dear to me.  Good job Mackenzie!

Cheers to all the wonderful mothers that Im so lucky to know.  Bless my mother for having a kind heart and a ton of patience to get me through life!  I love you mom!

Spring 2014 United Soccer Champions!

The Chargers had a great season!  They only lost 2 games.  Today they played 2 games because they earned a bye.  The first game was a nail biter because no one scored and it went into Sudden Death where each team gets 5 shots at the goal up close and who ever gets the most goals out of the 5 shots wins.  We won 2-1!  Our goalie held off some super tough kicks!!!  Then we had a 2 hour wait until the championship game....

So we hung out under a tent with the rest of the team.  We had snacks and drinks and the kids goofed around.  Mitch had to take Mac home because she was bored and it was hot.

School Dance

Her dance was a week ago.  She had a lot of fun and doesn't she look pretty?  Yes, I do let her wear makeup occasionally :)  I worked that big event last weekend and found out Im not supposed to post anything that would show the logos for the company I worked for.  So, most of you know who it is because I worked for them in January.  This event was bigger and I did a manicure on last year's American Idol winner Candace Glover and got my picture taken with the gold medalist Mikayla Schiffrin.  She took over for Lindsey Vonn.  Her gold medal is huge and weighs a lot!  After working 12 days straight between there and my regular job I am ready to catch up on things around here.  We have science projects, book reports and tests to wrap up the end of the year.  Marcus has a soccer tournament next weekend and then the weekend after that Mackenzie has Confirmation. :)
